Tunnel Beach is located at south of Saint Clair, two kilometers from Dunedin. Access to the spectacular and rocky coastline is through a fenced track and a short tunnel with steps lead down to the beach. The track crosses private farmland and is open to the public all year round except during lambing season, August to October.
Pictures were taken in 2011. Sadly the tunnel collapsed in 2012. No more Tunnel Beach
