Lake Rotoiti

Lake Rotoiti was the first stop after we left BlueBridge jetty at Picton. We wanted to start fresh after having some issues in Wellington, where we departed from. First, we got our stuff locked up in the masjid. We went out after Isya to buy some food, but when we got back, everyone had left and the doors were locked. Tried to contact everyone who knew the community members of the masjid. We waited. Luckily, the Imam came in to pick his car up in which he didn't normally left his car at the masjid after Isya. We taught that we could stay there for awhile before heading to jetty, but apparently we couldn't.

Secondly, we had trouble looking for a place where to park my car. Most of the long term parking areas were closed over the weekend for some reasons. Luckily, one of the BlueBridge staffs allowed us to park in their private parking area, right in front of the entrance. That was a really really nice unexpected things offered by BlueBridge. A simple thanks is not enough. It was absolutely a big relief.

Once boarding, we looked for seats, lie down, and the next thing we knew, we were already at Picton. We waited for a rental car, and then headed to Lake Rotoiti.

Here are some pictures at Lake Rotoiti. There are some videos of eels coming up. But not so soon. Got to find some free time to do some editing.
